The Healthy Weight For Life team partner with HCF to provide 100% funded knee and hip osteoarthritis management program for eligible members*.
The Osteoarthritis HWFL program is a fully supported knee and hip osteoarthritis management program designed to help reduce joint pain, improve mobility or prepare for surgery and long term recovery - all in the comfort of your own home.
*Clinical eligibility: For Members with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 28 and higher, who have knee or hip osteoarthritis and are considering joint replacement surgery or have ongoing symptoms after surgery.
*Policy eligibility: HCF Hospital cover held for 12 months, with a minimum of 2 months on hospital cover that includes joint replacement surgery. Members must not have participated in Osteoarthritis Healthy Weight For Life with HCF previously.
Both clinical and policy eligibility required for funding.
