Specific: Instead of “be more active”, it could be “hit 50,000 steps in a week”. It’s all in the details!
Measurable: How are you going to measure your goal? The answer could be a pedometer or scales, progress photos, fitting into an item of clothing, or think outside the box!
Achievable: Set realistic goals. They should be a challenge, but not overwhelming. Start small and gradually increase difficulty. Set yourself up for success!
Relevant: Ensure your goals align with your overall health and well-being aspirations. What truly matters to you?

Divide your overall goals into smaller, month-by-month SMART goals for manageable milestones and celebrate the little victories.
Using the 50,000 step example above, you could aim for 30,000 steps per week for the first month, and increase your target each month until you hit your goal.
Key things to remember:
Celebrate Successes: Reward yourself for achieving milestones, no matter how small. This reinforces positive behavior and keeps you motivated. But of course, try to avoid food-related rewards.
