Served hot or cold, an intense flavour hit to add to a green salad.

Can also be served as a relish with grilled steak or chicken at dinner, or enjoy as a Free Food snack with freshly ground black pepper.

Ingredients:

  • 1 clove of chopped garlic
  • 2 cups of sliced mushrooms
  • Splash of balsamic vinegar
  • Dried herbs (such as basil, oregano, thyme or rosemary)
  • Ground black pepper

Method:

  1. Spray a frypan with olive oil spray.
  2. Stir fry garlic for 1 minute.
  3. Add 2 cups of sliced mushrooms.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes or until mushrooms soften.
  5. Add a liberal splash of balsamic vinegar.
  6. Season with herbs and pepper.
