Cauliflower mash is a delicious Free Food alternative to traditional mashed potatoes. Enjoy it as a side dish or a light snack, and for a smoother texture, simply skip the peas for a creamy, white finish!

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of cauliflower (washed and chopped)
  • a generous grind of cracked pepper
  • handful of green peas
  • Small handful of mint chopped

Method:

  1. Steam the cauliflower until tender
  2. Remove from heat, add cracked pepper and blend until smooth
  3. Add steamed peas and the mint – stir through
  4. Serve with grilled meat or fish
